Hi there
I have been on the combined patches for nearly 2 years, they have worked well, I went to the doctor as I was feeling like I felt before starting HRT - not sleeping, period pains and no period, or heavy painful period, low mood. Doc changed my HRT to gel and tablets. I felt alot better on the gel and slept so well for the 2 weeks, I started the progesterone tablets and didnt sleep the first night, felt heady, dizzy and upset tummy, after the second night I had such a bad migraine, feeling dizzy and unable to hold conversation, legs hurt, infact whole body hurt. I decided after some research to not take the tablets again so I went back to using the patches as this was over the weekend and I could not consult my doctor. I have spoken to a nurse at the doctors today and explained all that went on, she then offered me anti depressants for my anxiety and hot flushes! I said I have neither of those and will not be taking antidepressants. Has anyone else had a similar experience? thank you xx

Yep bloody utrogesten doesn’t lik3 me,I’ve tried so many different combinations none of it helps for very long.
Felt hungover with the football as I called it made my anxiety even worse! Still tryin* to find something

There are multiple other options, you do not have to put up with intolerable side effects, periods or antidepressants.
Why not look into some of the other progestins either oral or IUS, or alternatively tibolone?.
