Hello all. With Estradot off the shelves i have been given Evorel and am on the 75 dose.
( I've been on Estradot 75 for over a year, lower doses prior).
I recently had the sorest biggest boobs for about two weeks plus. i still had a few Estradot left ( combo of 50 + 25) so slapped them on.
The sore boobs have gone.
Could it be Evorel?i can't see how? But wanted to see what you thought. I find them unbearably itchy and ridiculously massive,
My progesterone is still days 15 - 25.
I just missed my first period ever.
Could this be boob related, i.e something has changed.?
I've read so many books, articles, forums and still have no idea what's going on.
Has anyone else had Evorel issues? ( estogen only not the conti).
Thanks!!
but that's another matter.

It sounds like you must absorb better from Evorel which made your oestrogen levels rise and consequently got bigger boobs... I don't think you would get that effect if your levels were falling. Perhaps someone can correct me here if I'm wrong. Sooooo either see if it settles down or snip a bit of the patch and see if that fixes it?

Yep, whilst the active ingredient is the same, absorption can vary between patch brands.
Additionally using two smaller patches can be less efficient because it comes unstuck around 8 edges rather than 4, potentially leaving a smaller area in contact with the skin.
You might just have to accept that with different brands you need to customise your dosage and as suggested above, trim a bit off the more potent patch.
