Hi all
I have been struggling with progesterone so have been looking to reduce my oestrogen patch - had to mess about with cutting it due to shortages too. My oestrogen level has been 500pmol consistently for last 6 months and it feels too high as have constant cramping and haven’t been able to have enough progesterone. I decided to go back on to gel to try and manage reducing down easier and to avoid on going patch issues. I was a bit impulsive and took it off today (Friday) when it’s not due for a change until Sunday. I then put two pumps on. Have I overloaded myself now as patch will have given me doses today and will I feel this change ? I am hugely sensitive with bad depression so anxious I have done the wrong thing - any reassurance would be welcomed xx

No, you haven't messed anything up.
Once a patch is removed or falls off it is no longer delivering anything into your system.
Estradiol has a very short half life and even if you did take too much it would be gone in a day.
Also in a natural cycle it can fluctuate wildly anyway - every time you ovulated it could have been 1500-2000pmol/L and you didn't think anything about it then so don't worry about it!
