Hello. Due to my cycle being inconsistent for months, I've just moved to a continuous regime - 5mg provera daily instead of 10mg 12 days per month. I started it at the end of my last bleed but I'm only one week in and have spotting and light bleeding already. I knew it might happen but wasn't expecting it so soon. Can anyone else say how long it took for them to settle down please?

3-6 months as a general rule of thumb.
Provera is usually very good at controlling the endometrium.
If it is well tolerated and the priority is achieving amenorrhea, it can be taken at 10mg daily, however I would be inclined to give the 5mg dose 6 months.
