I was out for my 55th bday celebration. 3 years postmenopause.
I had kidney stones back in Jan 2025.
I went to the restroom at a restaurant and had light spotting.
I double checked to see if from urethra or vagina.
I have also had some sporadic throbbing pain in left ovary. ( right ovary and tube were removed when I was 29)
Also some pain in intestines on the same side.
Has anyone else experienced this.
I see a doc in July and I am so scared.

Morning. R the symptoms cyclical ? It mayB simply hormones fluctuating or it may be bruising from the kidney stone removal.
Is there a triage system at your Surgery, I filled in an on-line form at mine stating symptoms and was given an appt within 20 mins.
R U Stateside?

Most times this turns out to be nothing, or due to vaginal atrophy in untreated women - you don't mention if you are on any hormone therapy?
However it does need to be checked out - I wouldn't wait 2 months to see a doctor. Also if the July appointment was already booked for something else they may not have the time to address both issues properly
You should phone and ask for a prompt appointment as you have had postmenopausal vaginal bleeding.

I too think you should get an appointment now not wait til July. Best to get it checked out.

Are you in the uk? If you’ve had post menopausal spotting your GP should have referred you into the 2 week pathway where you will be given a scan and possibly a hysteroscopy.

Thank you everyone for your responses. It was my choice to wait till July since the bleeding was only one day and I have family trips in May and June and I want to make those, and without any thoughts of anything negative.
So I made the decision to get through those trips with my family first and then go to the Doctor and face whatever may come.
With the understanding I will come in sooner if anything gets worse.
Yes, I am state side.
I am not on any type of therapy and I still have a sexual relationship with my husband for the most part, Not as frequently as we once did due to work life but we are still pretty regular. Normally with no pain anymore since periods stopped. I did have some pain that I felt in my bladder last time we were intimate last weekend.
I had a CT scan done in JAN due to the kidney stone for abdomen and pelvis also. That is how the found the kidney stone . They thought it was an intestinal blockage or something else but it was a kidney stone. But according to them at that time there were no noticable masses in my abdomen or pelvis.
I only have a left ovary, tube and uterus. My right ovary and tube were removed due to a massive dermoid cyst when I was 29.
But we will see once I see my doctor.
