I know that you need to wait an hour after applying oestrogel before moisturisers.
But my question is how long after putting on moisturiser is ok to put on the gel without needing to shower or wash the area? I shower in the evening and moisturise my upper body and gel on the legs. In the morning the gel goes on my arms but i don’t shower is this ok? There’s about 9 hours between the 2.
I ask because it looks like I’m a poor absorber but don’t really have time for a morning shower or to wait an hour to moisturise in the morning

Morning. Where do U put the gel, maybe miss that particular area with the moisturiser?

I would wash the area before applying and not apply moisturizer for maximal absorption.
Alternatively you could try patches - with them you can use rubbing alcohol to strip the oil from that particular area of skin just prior to applying.
Finally don't be scared of oral estrogen - this is often the best option for active individuals who shower daily, and the thrombotic risk is so minuscule as to not be clinically significant in the absence of risk factors.

Could you try changing your routine temporarily, to see if absorption improves? Shower in the evening and apply your gel, then wait til morning to moisturise?
