Just that really.
I am so out of it a lot of the time. I feel very very vague and spaced out. Cant think straight. Sometimes I feel unsafe to drive!!! Sometimes I feel like I'm drugged up - when I am not!!!
I get it a lot, even though I'm peri with massive fluctuations. I actually notice it is really bad when E is high.
I never feel clear headed.
Is this brain fog??? I thought brain fog was forgetting things and words. Which I do get too. But my overall vagueness is worse.

I felt spaced out, woozy, couldn’t concentrate on anything. I stopped driving as I felt so ill.

Thanks Dotty. We are similar.
And now, post meno, on HRT, it's gone???

For me brain fog is like I can’t find the word I want to say it just doesn’t come. So I stand there for a few seconds looking blank. Don’t feel as sharp as I always used to be and I sometimes forget things I was told recently which isn’t me. I don’t know if it’s low oestrogen or high but certain points in the month it’s better/worse than others. When it’s good my mind is so clear I can focus on multiple things at once and I don’t feel stressed.

For me it felt like being drugged up without a drug. The light in my eyes had dimmed. Everything became an effort. I just didn't feel any buzz out of life. The journey is a long one but if you get on the right hormone you might find you again. Good luck

I struggle to find words for things. I get there eventually but it’s annoying. I also forget names of people, like on the tv.

Hi
Mine is also forgetting things and doing this wrong without realising until someone points it out..it's so frustrating

Mine was just as you described. Really foggy head, didn't know what was going on half the time and confused. Felt spaced out too.
-
I feel drugged up too and nauseous. Struggle to keep up a conversation and also light headed.
-
It's pretty mad isn't it. The drugged up feeling. Are you peri Tori? Sadie Louise???

Hi CrispyChick. I’m post menopause but still getting huge fluctuations. I read your posts and feel for you so much, I just can’t offer any good advice.
Today I am finding myself yet again having to dip out of another family gathering. Sorry went off on a tangent there.
