Is estradot available in Spain and can you get it OTC in a pharmacy? If not are there any other countries where you can?

I believe that HRT is in general available OTC in Europe, mayB ask MaryG [I think] - she pops up occasionally and if memory serves me OK, she's in Spain :-\ But don't quote me on it ::). Perhaps do a Member Search to C when she was last active?

Thanks, I'll do that if she doesn't reply on here. There are old posts suggesting they were tightening up on the OTC route a few years ago.

I'm pretty sure Estradot is still available in Spain. I used to buy it and post it to someone in the UK but they have now switched to something else.
I'm still buying HRT OTC without any problems. Some pharmacies are a bit sniffy but it's easy to just walk to another one. Be prepared to have to order for next day delivery.

Brilliant! Thanks for the info. I can't go til June/July because we're lambing so I have 3 months worth of plastic bag sized estraderm for now :(.

If any ladies do manage to source Estradot in Spain (or anywhere else) over the coming weeks, please do update and let us know. I was finally on the one medication that actually went through my skin, at a dose (175mcg) that was starting to help me function, then as of mid-March had to take an alternative and am now feeling like sh*t again. I am so desperate I would literally book a flight to anywhere in Europe if I could guarantee to get Estradot.
UPDATE 4pm: To my amazement my private meno consultant (my short-term insurance in case of arguments with GP about dosage etc.) has just emailed me to say 100mcg and 25mcg are in stock so they can make up a scrip for me. I am confused about what this "shortage" actually means! It will be interesting to see if I end up being able to get all my prescriptions for the rest of this year as long I'm desperate enough to pay...

Peri2022 I go to https://www.thefemalehealthclinic.co.uk/ as they are close to me, but they do remote consults too.
Cost-wise: Don't forget you will have to pay for a consult before being able to get a scrip! They are very good in that if your GP will do bloods (12-weekly necessary for me as I'm post-meno and on a high dose due to poor absorption) and accept their recommended prescribing, you can get those done through your GP. By the same token if you don't want your GP involved, you don't have to provide details. So far I have found them excellent. Although I am on a high dose, they don't do that for the sake of it. They follow all the guidelines and so on. Plus if your requirements are stable and you don't have any unusual problems (I wish!), they do a cheaper "triage" service.
They have also just launched a new "VIP" subscription service to help people save money as their prices are going up on 1 May :'(
Probably not helpful for me, but if you were going to use them exclusively it would certainly pay off.

I'd be really grateful to know if estradot can definitely be bought OTC in Spain.... Due to zero estradot supply I'm now a week into estraderm and just not absorbing enough oestrogen and all the horrible symptoms managed by estradot are returning thick and fast 😭 I'd get on a plane this afternoon if it meant coming back with estradot and getting some sleep !!
