Title: Exteme drowsiness - anyone found anything that helps?
Post by: flaxhigh on March 25, 2025, 05:08:28 PM
Has anyone found anything that cuts through the extreme drowsiness? I'm trying to up my HRT but in the meantime about 3 hours after I've woken up I'm hit with insane drowsiness as if I've been severely drugged. My energy is fine, I just feel drowsy/drugged.

I am hitting the coffee like mad - not that it helps much - and just 'push through' but living my life as if I'm on drugs is hell! Has anyone else done anything that helped?

My vit/minerals are all fine so it's not that.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions - thank you!!

My brain is constantly tired.  I dream.  A lot which leaves me exhausted feeling that I need to 'catch up' on sleep and when my brain shuts off, that's it.  Gone, even in the middle of a MotoGP Race  :-\

Cut out the coffee?  Go through your over all diet 2 C what processed foods you could cut out?  Sugars, fats etc. can cause tiredness as the body tries to digest properly.

I would see your gp. It may well be meno but best to rule out other causes such as thyroid or b12.
