Title: Ovary bloating
Post by: CrispyChick on March 18, 2025, 06:21:11 PM
Ok. What fresh hell is this????

I've missed my first ever period this month. I've had mild bloating most days. Until today. Where I've got massive bloating and discomfort. Ovary pain. Goes right up causing indigestion.

So dick of all this. I mean, I'd take the new 'moving on' peri hell symptoms...if I didnt still have my original hellish stuff that's plagued me all this way through.

Anyway. Is this normal?

Probably, but if there is significant distension and/or pain that is new and unusual for you, it might be worth seeing if your GP can refer you up to gynae for an on-the-day scan - occasionally there can be a cyst large enough to cause torsion.

I don't want to worry you because this is statistically unlikely, but it's not one of those things that should be ignored if it persists/worsens.

Thanks bomb. I'll see how it goes.

I've got a regular check in with my GP anyway. So can add it to my list.  >:(
