Hi all
Long time since I last posted. I had thought that my symptoms were all but under control but in the last couple of weeks, I started feeling emotional and drained and have spent the last 4 days nursing period like cramps. These symptoms were very prevalent in my early days of taking HRT and after a lot of back and forth, I tried off label HRT as i cannot tolerate oestrogel - the symptoms became exacerbated. I have been fine for a few years now but as I say, the cramps and PMT have come in earnest.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Also, I collected my progesterone prescription today and was given progesterone but the brand appears to be 'accord' - is this the same/similar to utrogestan? Is progestrone in low supply/being taken off the market?
Thanks

Having now checked with my consultant, the PMT and Cramping is 'Normal' even at this stage of life and should improve year on year.
I have though had some feedback from a DEXA scan that I have had which shows Osteoporosis! I have been advised that this can be improved through exercise and... Oestrogen.
What is the absolute lowest doseage of oestrogen out there please?
Also given that I did not tolerate oestrogen previously I was wondering whether increasing progesterone (one takeen orally daily) would potentially help offset the oestrogen dominant symptoms that I suffered with previously before I went off label on progesterone only.
Thanks
