Title: After estradot feel very off
Post by: KaraShannon on February 16, 2025, 02:03:59 AM
I'm on evorel sequi and while it's not perfect and I need a blood test, I generally don't have facial flushing on it.

But about 4 days ago I was using estradot as they had run out of the estradiol on evorel.

At first no problem, for about 48 hours and then major facial flushing and ringing in the ears, also palpitations.  Got evorel and quickly changed the patches and shortly after the flushing went down and the palpitations settled and generally feeling better since.

But not fully.  I've just put a tiny additional estradiol patch on (the doctor knows about this) and the palpitations I had tonight suddenly disappeared.  I thought that strange but good.  But now ringing in the ears and facial flushing.

It's possible I accidentally left it a bit too long to change the extra additional patch, by about 12 hours maybe.

Too much.  Too little.  No idea.  Don't usually have facial flushing, this month is difficult.

Not sure why I'm posting but interested in other's thoughts.   :)

the only other change was when I was on the combined part of evorel sequi, and on the last combined patch, I put a little extra estradiol patch on then.

A very tiny amount just to see if it would help with the horrible symptoms I get on the last patch of combined before changing to estradiol only.

It actually worked and I felt better and normal.

But maybe it's led to an estradiol build up now that I'm on the estradiol only patches.  It worked, but doesn't work when on estradiol only.

Maybe I'm over oestrogenised now  :-\
