Hi ladies - I'm 60 and came off HRT around 10 months ago after ups and downs with it for 7 years. Flushes came back but have now started to subside, the issue is now severe joint / muscle pain and stiffness everywhere, from wrists, knees and worst of all around my lower back and pelvis - feel like i have aged 20 years in 10 months!
Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what tests did you have and how was it treated without HRT. Thank you

I get very stiff after sitting down for a while, also when I first get up in the morning, it does wear off after I’ve moved around, and I’m on HRT.
I’ve currently just had a dexa scan, I have an autoimmune liver disease, and because my liver enzymes have risen, they ordered a dexa scan to see if the extra enzymes are coming from my liver or my bones.
Sometimes I feel like I’m 110. And I have pain exactly where you’ve described.
Maybe you should ask your GP for a blood test to rule out arthritis, or maybe try cod liver oil or something like that, people say they do help.
