Title: Vitamin C
Post by: VioletAquarius on January 10, 2025, 10:28:49 PM
Does anyone know a good quality brand of Vitamin C?

I'm looking at Superdrug's, 500mg, 90 tablets for £4.99 (not the one with zinc in it). Anyone use these?

Thanks.

I don't take vitamin C but use Natures Best for Vitamin D and magnesium and generally rate their products. They do 100 x 500mg tablets for £6.95 but are cheaper if you buy larger quantities. It says on the website that they use L-ascorbic acid, which they say is the most bio-available form.

Not tried superdrug but I've been ordering all my vitamins from Nutri advanced. They do easier to swallow versions.

Either nutri advanced, life extension or biocare are the ones used by my functional medicine doctor and are really good quality. For liposomal c, it is worth getting altrient-c but it is super expensive so I only get that if one of us is sick.
