Title: New Member Saying Hello!
Post by: Rosy5170 on January 07, 2025, 02:31:32 PM
Hi Everyone,
I am a new to this forum and slightly nervous as I have never done this kind of thing before!  I am currently 51 but I started menopause when I was 39 so I am 12 years in.

It has been an extremely bumpy journey and when I started I felt extremely alone as none of my friends had any idea of how it felt both physically and mentally.  Most of them now are going through it or not far off...

I had to go on HRT from the beginning as I was young so needed it for various health reasons the biggest one being the risk of osteoporosis but I am very much wanting to come off it now but I am apprehensive as not sure who I am without it to be honest.

Anybody been through anything similar at all with any advice?
Thank you for reading!!!!

Hi!   :welcomemm: don't be nervous.  We don't bite unless there's a 'y' in the day ;-)

Why do U need to stop HRT if the regime suits? There are no recommended time limits these days.

Browse round the Forum.  Make notes ;-).  Ask away - is there a particular symptom that U would like to ease?
