My progesterone - the brand name on the box is Zontiva - say 100mg. My doctor told me to take 1 daily with no break, but the leaflet says the dosage is 2 tablets per day. Why would the doctor say to take 1 and the leaflet to say take 2? I haven't had bleeding for years so assuming this is why the doc but me on continual progesterone because I don't need to stop taking it for a bleed? Also if I wanted to up my dose of estrogel to 2 pumps per day, is one tablet of progesterone enough to offset 2 pumps of gel to stop thickening of the lining - especially asking because I'm only taking 1 tablet as docs instructions but not sure if the doc has got this one right? Also especially asking because I have a history of fibroids (non present now) and cannot risk the lining thickening.
Thanks
Emma

2 pumps oestrogel and 100mg progesterone daily or 200mg fortnightly are fine.
