Title: 10 days since last period
Post by: Jules12 on December 06, 2024, 07:18:13 PM
I'm 52 and perimenopausal.  Can someone tell me if it's normal to have a period 10 days after last one finished. My last one lasted longer than normal 8 days instead of 6.

Hi yes it can happen in peri menopause. Periods can get further apart or nearer together….heavier or lighter.

Hi Jules 12. Yes it's definitely normal for perimenopause. Mine were 2 weeks apart then four months followed by 10 days and then months again and this went on for a couple of years from the age of 51. This is the info from the menu at the top of the page https://www.menopausematters.co.uk/menopause.php There's a download explaining peri.
