Title: 14 days of oestrogel - I’m stopping do it still need to take the progesterone?
Post by: Toasty123 on December 05, 2024, 05:46:09 PM
I’ve used oestrogel for 14 days and I’m not into it and have stopped. Do I need to do the 14 days of utrogestan or can I just call it quits as it’s been such a short time on oestrogens?

I would think there's no need to bother going through 14 days of utrogestan if it's just been 2 weeks in oestrogel. Probably best to check with dr/pharmacist to be on the safe side though...

Endometrial hyperplasia develops over months to years with unopposed estrogen, not two weeks.

There is no need to take progesterone if that's all you've taken and you don't plan to take any more.
