Title: Headache
Post by: Mariamc on November 29, 2024, 01:22:07 PM
Hi All

I am 49 (in peri I think) could be in full meno for all I know as am on cerazette so dont have period. Doc hasnt done the hormone blood test.
For the last 8 months I am having a slew of symptoms , loads of things
I have a headache (which feels like a headache you would get when your period was coming) for the past 10 days at least - thought it was a sinus infection - got antibiotic off doc - have them all taken and still have sore head ! So am thinking now is it hormonal as well as sinuses ? I have tinnitus on the daily also as one of my symptoms!
Anyone get these types of headaches ??
Thanks guys :)

Evening.  Headaches can be due to hormonal imbalance as well as the body being dehydrated.  Sometimes as we go into peri-menopause we have to rehash our over all diets, both food and liquid intakes.  I've cut out a lot of pasties, croissants etc. in the last 2 years - until my 60s I could eat almost any type of scone, now I have to B so careful!   :-\

Did your GP check for a sinus infection?  4 me it was like being   :drunk:   without reason, hardly dare to move and if bending forwards pain is excruciating  :o.  ABs certainly helped in the 1990s.

Tinnitus may be due to peri-menopause.  I have had it for years. Sometimes worse than others.
