Hi
I'm going to be starting Lenzetto and wondered how everyone has found it. I've tried Oestrogel in the past and have been using Evorel patches on different doses for 2 years now and think i am getting some side effects- bloating, breathlessness, some flutters. I have a feeling it maybe the patch causing these symptoms.
Thanks

I found it too weak to control my symptoms, even on 3 sprays. I also had more headaches -possibly a side effect - or more likely because it wasn't enough oestradiol for me.

Thanks Chopsuey. Can i ask, are you pre or post menopausal?

Post menopausal. I was happy on Oestrogel but my specialist favoured Lenzetto. I agreed to try it but it was too weak. I am on the max (licenced ) dose of Oestrogel though and I don't think the max dose of Lenzetto is equivalent.

I actually think i maybe post menopausal too. I had a hysterectomy a few years ago and so am unable to tell, with having no periods. I'd like to know.
I thought 3 sprays was equivalent to a 50mcg patch. I went from a 50mcg patch to a 25mcg patch. I feel so much better now than when i was on the higher dose (I'm very sensitive to any hormonal changes), I had a couple of bad symptoms which have eased slightly since reducing my dose.

Yes, the BMS say 3 sprays are equivalent to a 50 mcg patch or 2 pumps of Oestrogel. We are all different in how much we need or absorb. My last blood test showed oestradiol levels of only 274 pmol/L on 4 pumps, which is not a high level really.
I did find in the month that I used Lenzetto that it seemed to vary quite a lot in how much came out with each spray. The current Oestrogel pumps are not very consistent either, which is why I weigh it. I guess patches are more reliable in that way.
Might be worth looking at other threads on Lenzetto via the search box, if you want more opinions from people that have used it.
