Title: Evorel Conti?

Hi,
Been taking Evorel Conti patches - 3.2mg Estradiol and 11.2 Northesterone (I think spelling right?) for 2 months.
I felt great at first then had a very heavy painful bleed  - I had blood clots every time I went to the toilet. This lasted 6 days. I was aware that some bleeding would occur.

Since then my symptoms seemed to have increased - more anxiety and depression, swollen boobs, more tiredness and lethargic are some of the increased symptoms.

How long does it take to feel a bit better? Should I increase dosage?

Sorry to hear you are suffering. Are your patches Evorel 50 or 100?

Everol Conti only comes as Everol Conti 50....(combined patch) Only reason I know is I'm on Everol Conti plus a Everol 25 patch(brand name of Estriadol).

That's right, evorel conti is a fixed dose, you can't easily increase it - you can wear two patches (this should be discussed with your doctor not done alone) but is not what I would suggest for the issues you describe.

First of all are you fully postmenopausal? If not this may just be due to your own ovarian hormones fluctuating.

If you are, then bleeding that occurs in the first 3 months of a new regimen doesn't usually require investigation as it is likely to settle by itself.

Another issue that can cause bleeding and symptoms of hormonal dysregulation is patch loss or dehiscence.

If they are not sticking very well or coming off, this results in inconsistent delivery.

If you are sure they are sticking properly I would persevere for another month or so. Do you have a review at 3 months?

If you still don't feel right on it after that I would discuss other options with your doctor, as there are many of them.

Yes, I've just started to have problems with keeping patches on my skin - they keep peeling on the edges......
Is there any adhesive tape that is safe to use?

Tegaderm can buy on Amazon I used for femseven but I was allergic to it
