Hi everyone,
I had a hysteroscopy on 5th November due to another heavy bleed.
I stopped oestrogel on 31st October and stopped bleeding on 5th November. I continued taking the utrogestan however i stopped taking that on 12th November.
Everything has been fine, however today I noticed a tiny little bit of blood on the loo paper.
Is this due to the fact that I've stopped the utrogestan, even though that was 9 days ago?
Thanks x

Yes you may still have some residual lining to shed after recently stopping hormones.
No cause for concern if your investigations were normal.
It is probably too early to have developed significant vaginal atrophy, which can also cause bleeding and spotting, but do be aware of this going forward if you aren't on any hormone therapy.

Hi bombsh3ll
Yes I just found out today actually that the biopies they took were fine and everything was normal. What they thought was a polyp wasn't it was actually a fibroid.
Yes that's a good thing to remember about the vaginal atrophy as you say I think it's too soon to have any atrophy yet, but I will keep that in mind.
Thanks again x

Hi Discogirl , just wanted to say great news about your results coming back normal.
Can't really comment on the HRT as I stopped mine 11 months ago now but it does sound like it could be down to you stopping the utrogestan very recently. I wouldn't worry seeing as your results have literally just come back x

Huge relief for you :)

H Northerngirl and Ebonybones,
Yes it is a huge relief, thanks so much.
The bleeding was just spotting really, so I think it's either the stopping of the utrogestan or as bombsh3ll said just maybe a last bit of residual lining to come away xx
