Title: Vaginal Oestrogen pessaries
Post by: Autumn1961 on November 21, 2024, 09:35:38 AM
Hi all
I'm new here. Has anyone experienced side effects when stopping vaginal oestrogen pessaries?
I've been inserting one daily but I've now moved to twice a week so I havent used one since Monday and I'm so dizzy today
Could that be related, do you think?
Thanks
Autumn  :)

I very much doubt it would be the pessary causing your symptoms.
Like a lot of us two pessaries a week is not enough to control GSM symptoms so don't worry if you have to use more, its very safe to do so.

I do find low Oestrogen ( from gel in my case) leaves me dizzy though

Low oestrogen may well cause dizziness but is unlikely to be related to pessaries the contents of which don't migrate once the vaginal walls are plumped up.

AKatieD - how often are u using the gel?
