Title: Cabergoline (Dostinex) & UTROGESTAN VAGINAL ® 200mg Capsules Progesterone
Post by: Seniz on November 20, 2024, 03:50:50 PM
Hello Ladies,

Hope you all well.

It is a bit specific question but I am hoping maybe someone has idea and advice to share with me.

I am post menopausal 50 years old having HRT 10 years and recently my meno specialist changed my HRT regime Estradot 50mg   +   100mg progesterone with UTROGESTAN VAGINAL ® 200mg Capsules Progesterone.

I also have prolactinoma / micro adenoma and using medication call DOSTINEX (Cabergoline)
Cabergoline and Bromocriptine are similar medication.

Today i was checking the Other medicines and Utrogestan vaginal tablets and saw in the PACKAGE LEAFLET: INFORMATION FOR THE USER : In particular tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any of the following
medicines:• Bromocriptine used for problems with the pituitary gland

A bit worried if my GP / Endocrinologist and Menopause doctor might missed something.  I hope not.

I wonder any of you nice ladies using vajinal utrogestan and Dsotinex same time with no issues.

Kind Regards
Seniz

I would ring your Specialist and make the point.  Do they have your full medical history for example?
