Hi Everyone, I hope you can send some reassurance my way. I've been on Evorel Sequi for a Year. It was meant to help with my heavy and sometimes erratic/early periods along with terrible anxiety and hot flashes. The anxiety is somewhat in check as well as the hot flashes but my periods/withdrawal bleed have got longer and heavier. I also missed one Evorel Conti patch and went straight on to the Evorel 50 again. That box/Month I ended up being a week and a bit late for the withdrawal bleed and that lasted a whopping 15 days. I contacted my GP and she has booked me in for a scan. So I'm really not sure why or what they are looking for. I'm now again 4 days late for my normal withdrawal bleed. Did I completely mess up my cycle? I'm 45 years old, I don't use contraception but my husband had a vasectomy a few years back. Any experiences or reassurances please ?

:welcomemm: replacement therapy can trigger bleeds if the dose is altered. A scan of the womb is to check that the lining isn't too thick. After the results are back advice can be given - do make a list of your worried to discuss and let us know how you get on!
U could put the product names into the search box on the Forum: individually: 2 read any threads - make notes ;-)

Menopause hormone therapy doesn't help with menstrual problems such as you describe, as it is not strong enough to shut your own cycle down.
You would be better off taking a combined pill continuously.
I know you don't require contraception, nor do I, but I take it for quality of life reasons, don't bleed at all and have no hormonal ups and downs.
