Title: Pump bottle testosterone; is this about the right amount?
Post by: Witchinghour on November 07, 2024, 11:23:11 AM
Hi all,

I have testosterone in a pump bottle. I've had the same bottle since early March and it feels like there's plenty left but no way to check unless I cut it open!

I'm waiting for an appointment with the menopause clinic for bloods to check my testosterone levels but that won't be until January.

I use about a petit poit size amount every day. The consultant just said 'a tiny blob' but that's so vague...

Is that about how much other people use?

Hi,

I am also on pump testosterone (I assume Tostran) my original dose was 1 pump every other day. This was waaaay too much in one go, so it really is better (imo) to eyeball it! I also use a small blob (way less than half a pump).

Last time I had my bloods tested my results were a bit high (I was using closer to half a pump at that time) but had no side effects. I remember hearing all this 'irreversible side effects'... I guess you'd have to take mega doses to get hairy or anything else unwanted.

Good luck x

Hi,

I’m on Tostran, I use a petit pois blob but every second day. My levels are fine.
I think it depends on how much you can tolerate.
