Title: Tight mid back with pulsing at night
Post by: AnxiousSoul on November 05, 2024, 11:48:26 AM
Ladies, I hope you can help!  I'm 53 and on day 180 of no period (half way to meno hopefully!) Discovered I had low ferritin (28) and low B12 (217) a few months ago through blood tests. Been feeling so tired and had palpitations and tight chest.  That seems to have subsided slightly but now I can't sleep for a horrible sensation of a tight mid back and a pulsing/throbbing feeling there too.  Anyone experience anything similar? Obvs anxiety is off the scale once more. One ailment seems to subside, only for it to be replaced with something else!

Yep, that's peri all over - literally!  1 symptom gone, another emerges, somewhere on the Forum we have a thread with 'what we have diagnosed today' or similar  ::) so U are not alone.

What have U been doing that might tighten up those muscles?  R U aware of the sensation when on your side?

I'm defs going to seek out that thread!  I do have bad posture at work, hunched over my desk even though I convince myself otherwise  ;D

Try standing upright to work?  I was doing so at home earlier and DH told me that we don't have upright working stations here, that I am able to sit down  ;D but my posture is awful.  I see that old lady looking back from a shop window and note that I am leaning forwards more than I should be doing!!!!

U R allowed a screen break every 2 hours, mayB walk around and stretch your shoulders backwards?
