Hi all
Has anyone had their AMH levels tested for gauge menopause status? I had a hysterectomy at 41 (now 47, kept my ovaries) and I've always gone on symptoms and oestrodial levels to indicate where I might be on the menopause road. But recently had a blood test that included AMH levels (Anti-Mullerian Hormone) and the result was surprising in that my egg reserve is that of a woman a few years younger than me. I always assumed the hysterectomy would mean a slightly earlier menopause and my symptoms have backed that up.
Not going to change anything I'm doing to manage my symptoms but just curious if anyone else has experience with an AMH test and menopausal symptoms?
