Can anyone advise?
Yesterday was patch change day for me (I change on Wed and Sat). I am currently on 175mcg patches. Stupidly I forgot to take off the old patches yesterday morning but didn’t notice until bedtime, so I had double patches on for about 13 hours. I immediately removed them of course.
My worry now is that I have an Estrogen blood test booked for this Thursday and I’m worried this increase will affect the results. Should I change the date of the blood draw?
I am very cross with myself about this as it is so difficult to arrange the blood tests to coincide with my period, I really didn’t need this problem on top!
Does anyone know anything about this?

I think I read somewhere that oestrogen has a half life of only 1 hour which, if that is correct it ought to be long gone by Thursday.
Have a Google of the half life of oestrogen and see what you find.

Thanks Seaside Girl, good idea. I’ve just had a quick google and you are right. Very short half life - seemingly no more than 3 hours for a patch - so I think I’m good. Thank god.
