Title: Difference in period taking Utrogestan vaginally?
Post by: Seasidegirl on October 23, 2024, 10:12:18 AM
Yet another progesterone question from me...

I've just switched to taking utrogestan vaginally effectively on a sequential basis (still peri).

My period has been heavier, longer and more painful than usual.   Nothing worrying,  but different.

Is this a feature of the Utrogestan? Has anyone else exhorting similar?

Thanks

MayB put your HRT regime into the search box: individually: and read the threads as I am sure there will be several.  make notes ;-)

Hi Seasidegirl

I use utro vaginally and I think when you first start taking utro this way it can cause heavier periods.

Im post meno but maybe other ladies who use it this way can confirm this.

Thanks both

Discogirl,  I'm hoping that's the case.  Hopefully this also means that the utrogestan is being effectively which would be good as in still struggling to take the full dose
