SEBORRHOEIC KERATOSES

Hi Has anyone developed any of these in menopause please?

Hi

Yes, I have a patch on my forearm which GP advised is SK. I've also developed lots of scaly/raised patches on my rib area that I think are probably SK too,even though they look diff to my arm.

I've got lots of them especially on my legs and forearms. My dad had lots but my mum never developed any

Iv got 2 small on my shoulder and thought that was it. Health anxiety is a terrible thing

Awful aren't they  :-\. Old age spots or skin tags.  If U are concerned do get your GP to have a lookC.  Same with moles that alter colour or shape.

DH has both on his face  >:(

I don't think there is any way, other than make up.  If very unsightly or causing problems i.e. on the eyes or ears, mayB ask for a referral to a dermatologist.

They can be removed with targeted dry ice, liquid nitrogen, like a verruca. Can be done at GPSurgery.

I have these and have seen some improvement to them with bee venom cream for moles and warts…bought off Amazon. Not gone completely but definitely smoother and flatter.

Yes but it doesn't harm the bees. They normally use some sort of electrical stimulation panel which causes the bees to deposit venom but doesn't mean they lose the barbed sting and so they don't die

Yes, I've developed a lot, arms, torso and head. Hate the things!

A couple of new ones that came up looked like moles so I got the doctor to check them out as I couldn't tell the difference! 

Doctor's surgery will freeze them off if they are causing problems but generally they leave them I think.

I had one frozen off when I saw a private dermatologist about my rosacea and she noticed it on my arm and offered to get rid of it. It was great but soon grew back.

Hi yes developed SK during Peri and my back in particular is covered.  GP will check every 6-9 months and remove any causing issues.
