It can take 3-6 months for bleeding to settle on a new HRT regime.

Are you peri or postmenopausal?

What dose are you on with the patch and what progestogen are you using?

The best options for controlling bleeding are the combined pill taken continuously (if medically eligible), desogestrel 150mcg daily as the progestogen with your estrogen of choice, and the IUS.

Hi Bombsh3ll, i am on Evorel Conti Patches.  i have just had a message off the Doctor and she has prescribed me some Desogestral Tablets to take too.  Not sure of the mg as have not got the prescription yet.   :)

They are also sending me for another scan on my womb.   Just so frustrating, as i have been going through the Menopause for around 8 years and not has any issues with my HRT,or any Bleeding until now  :-\
