Hi Ladies,
I noticed a couple of weeks ago the storage instructions on my Evorel patches states 'Do not store above 25 degrees c'. Seeing as I keep them in my bedroom and it had been reaching 28 degrees some days, I was a little concerned.
I emailed the manufacturer, Theramex and asked the question and it took a couple of weeks but I eventually received this reply:
As per the Product Information Leaflet (PIL) for Evorel 50 section 2 “How to store Evorel”, “Do not store above 25°C.”(1).
Evorel 50 patches can be stored at temperatures from 2°C up to 25°C until the expiry date (it means they can be stored in a fridge (2-8°C). Product can be exposed to a maximum temperature of 30°C for 4 weeks with no impact considered on product quality(2).

So there you go, from the horse's mouth as it were. I thought this might be helpful in case anybody has the same concerns.

Thanks for the info, that's useful to know in case the UK actually gets a summer next year :-)

I remember we talked about this before when we had the really hot spell in the UK in July 22. Thanks for the reminder.

Whilst it isn't a good idea to ignore storage instructions, I do think the manufacturers are probably over cautious.
I used the patches for IVF in Spain and neither the clinic nor the pharmacy seemed concerned about keeping them in the fridge or anything, despite much warmer temperatures than here, and they worked just fine!
