A bit off menopause topic but my reasoning is as I get older and more easily tired then housework is getting more difficulties
🤔
Not to mention the arthritis in my hands
Has anyone got a good way of cleaning the grout in our shower. My husband has been using an antiseptic soap made by Dettol. It's very pleasant and smells lovely but is a vivid yellow. The grout is now going yellow Not sure if it's this soap maybe. ? Anyway I'm struggling to get it back to a clean white
Having done Google search but not sure about the suggestions there. Anyone got a method they have successfully used 😀

Good old bicarbonate of soda. Mix into a paste and slarr on the tiles all over. with a cloth Leave to dry for hours. Then wash off. Used every day this should remove the staining. It was my Paternal Grans 'go to' for cleaning.
A toothbrush with Bicarb paste on used on those difficult to clean grout areas can also work.

Our shower gets evidence of “orangey film “ after a while even with use of a regular shower cleaner. I then use HG mould spray on the shower tiles & grout. Says leave for 30 minutes but I usually leave it longer. It needs ventilation when using & it stains clothing/ material but does the job.
We wipe the shower doors down daily & leave the door open to avoid too much cleaning really 😆
ps I also have a good grout brush from Lakeland which your husband could use 😄
