I had crippling anxiety and low mood before I went on HRT. Am now on 75 Evorel patches plus utrogestan. I started on 50 patches and worked up over a couple of years. Things not perfect but SO much more stable. Hang in there. xx

I’m 49, been on HRT for 4 years initially with a private Dr. I’ve recently changed to 100mcg estradot patch and daily 100mg progesterone (was using Oestrogel previously) with the addition of Testogel, through NHS meno clinic telephone appt.

Ive been on the new regime for approx 8 weeks and my anxiety and mood fluctuations have improved so much! I’m sleeping through the night for the first time in 5 years which has a positive impact on my day and my sensitivity to noise and annoyances has greatly reduced. I put all this down to the increase in oestrogen that I am now absorbing.

Thank you , I am reading feeling hopeful, I can’t sleep because of anxiety waking me up and can’t sleep through the day because of anxiety. It’s a vicious circle, hoping hrt helps me soon x
