Title: Mouth Ulcers
Post by: Mariab on August 17, 2024, 06:37:06 AM
Hi ladies...
I've always suffered with mouth ulcers  linked to hormones but lately they have become much worse... does anyone have any experience with this and how to relieve them?? :)

'bonjela' used regularly

Do see a dentist for a thorough check round your mouth we shouldn't blame hormones on every little ache/pain.

I have just reduced eastrogen from 3 to 2.5 pumps..maybe thats the reason...

Depomedrone is a pain relieving steroid ..........

Any ulcers that don't clear within 2 weeks should be examined.  R U low on zinc for example?

Sometimes using a toothpaste that doesn’t contain sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) can help.

Here’s some useful information about this:

Morning.  Good idea Jenna  :thankyou:

Mariab - Don't get hooked into which foods have X, Y, Z ......... regardless of how healthy foods that we have in our diet 1 can still be low on some minerals, a blood test should show which.
