Title: Tamoxifen, Breast Cancer and me
Post by: SarahMcG on August 16, 2024, 12:04:13 PM
Hi I was diagnosed 2 years ago with Breast Cancer and following a wee operation I was clear! I had waited over two and a half years for an op to remove a cyst, both my ovaries and the one remaining fallopian tube I still had, now I am menopausal. I have just stopped taking the Tamoxifen I was given after my breast cancer and am looking to talk to the consultant about the future. This website has already helped me this morning thank you. :) :)

Hi!  How did U get on with the Tamoxifen?

Keeping a mood/food/symptom diary may be useful as well as making notes of which symptom you may want to ease.  Some consultants are loathe to prescribe HRT where as we need to move forward for quality of life.

Let us know how you get on.
