Title: Is this another VA symptom?
Post by: Loopsie on August 15, 2024, 11:10:16 AM
I have had VA for over 5 years and have what I think is a good routine of Vagifem, Estriol cream and Yes moisturiser or sometimes olive and bee.  Lately I have been experiencing sharp needle like pains in that area which I can’t work out why.  I did increase the Vagifem and cream but it does not make much difference.  I am paranoid that I have a prolapse as when I do get very dry I feel like there is something there but I put that down to the dryness.

I do have constipation which causes me to have dull pelvic ache but again I can rectify this by upping my fibre intake.

I seem to find one symptom is conquered and another comes along.  Has anyone else experienced needle like symptoms?

Any advice is much appreciated.  :)

Yep.  Occasionaly, enough to cause me to yelp.  Not in 1 particular area, just a sudden nip!

I got this today on my lower left side pelvis area and I am putting it down to GSM (VA) as I've experienced it before and it soon passes.
Increase in symptoms since the hot weather and a new house that seems forever hot because of too many windows.

Constipation and bowel regularity affects everything. I suffer with cystitis-like symptoms if I am struggling with bowels. Honestly, new day new symptom…..

Interesting Mouse and 1 symptom that I had forgotten about.  Yesterday for example I hadn't 'been' B4 we went out for the day which meant that I felt uncomfy until late evening.  Needing to wee more often  ::).
