Hi - just checking in to say hello! I have been a lurker here for many years (all through peri, menopause & beyond) and found it so useful (so thanks to all posters :)) Have finally created an account in case anyone might find my journey helpful too.
Last period was in 2020, at age 54, have been on Ovestin for VA (plus Yes VM) since 2019, and started Femoston Conti Ultra Low Dose in 2021. I think I'm probably very progesterone intolerant based on the rollercoaster of PMS over the previous decades, so settled on Femoston .5/2.5 as I was frankly terrified of Utrogestan! I wish a lower dose than 100mg was available. I'm currently increasing the Femoston very gradually (half a tab extra a day) hopefully to go up to the 1/5 version, but it's a work in progress, might just as easily end up easing back down to the bare minimum again. Never a dull moment with this particular life stage, to put it mildly, but the mutual support on here is amazing!

:welcomemm: any experiences are useful. :thankyou: What is useful here is that stories can be read, used or put to one side until required.

Hello, glad you have drop in. I'm a late starter coming on this site. Wished I was here a few years ago to get advice and info. I think my health would have been different. There are experienced and knowledgeable women here. ;)

Hi, and thanks - yes, I agree - how ever much info is out there, nothing beats being able to ask others who have been through the same thing!
