Title: Constant sweats
Post by: alison.hamilton72 on July 31, 2024, 05:51:37 PM
Anyone have any advice please? On utrogestan with lenzetto 2 sprays in evening. Since last year I suddenly start to sweat from my head only. Gp has increased the lenzetto as my oestrogen level was on the low side and wants me to increase it again plus the tablet. I can’t go out on hot days and I’m so embarrassed, any exertion at all and I’m a puddle.

Sweating is a constant problem for me too. There are a lot of products around to help reduce sweating, but not for the face I think. All I can suggest is trying a neck fan. As soon as you feel that heat surge put the fan on your neck and it may stop you from sweating, it usually works for me. Don't be embarrassed, more people are becoming aware of the difficulties of menopause and are sympathetic. An increase in oestrogen may help too, my levels are really low as well.

I know you can get neck fans online, they sit discreetly around your neck and blow cold air upwards, maybe that would help a bit? X
