Hey I was taking Utrogestan two tablets for two weeks and found this mind altering. I felt low PMT symptoms. Now been given Provera but worried about that.
I just want something to make me feel less moody and not feeling low.
Thank you xxxxx

Provera is the least metabolically favourable progestin, and in my opinion should be a treatment of last resort rather than the second thing someone tries.
Options I would try/consider first are;
Mirena IUS (benefits include amenorrhea in most)
Taking micronised progesterone vaginally
Dydrogesterone (available in combination only but may suit)
Desogestrel 150mg daily (off label but increasingly used) Benefits include amenorrhea in most.
Norethisterone (available in combination pill, patches and standalone tablets, latter off label).
Drospirenone/slynd. Off label.
