Title: Pchychigenic itch
Post by: sooper_cooper on July 23, 2024, 08:11:42 AM
Hi, I have been having problems at night with weird itching sensations in my body, mainly hands and feet and legs. It’s not really an itch, it’s like it’s on the inside . I’ve looked it up and it’s linked to anxiety. Had anyone else had this and found any relief please? Thanks

Morning.  At 'our age' dropping oestrogen levels is probably the most obvious causation.  As the levels drop the body may become dry: inside and out.

I've had strange weird itchiness underneath the rib cage since a child, was told by the GP that it is imagination.  It happens when I'm very tired or suffering a cold.  Hard to describe but I want to get underneath the ribs to scratch!

How is your anxiety affecting you?  How is your diet and exercise regime?
