Title: Mirena and Evorel patches

Hi all.  I am using Evorel 50 mcg patches along with the Mirena coil.  The coil was inserted exactly 4 years ago.  My Gp said it needs changing after 4 years, however, a nurse specialist said it could remain for another 3 years.  Any advice as I am confused.

Hi, I was told every 5 years. I think if you google Mirena they have their own website and they advise on there.  :)

I've read this morning that it depends on the type of coil inserted: some need replacing after 5 years, others can go as long as 8.  How do U feel overall Millie1?
