Title: Superdrug testosterone
Post by: Polpringle on June 08, 2024, 09:52:23 PM
Has anyone done the test from Superdrug for testosterone levels and gone on to order testosterone, has it helped symptoms?
It’s a real fight to get my doctor to even adjust my HRT so I don’t think they would consider testosterone and I think it may help some of my symptoms

Yes I am getting t from superdrug after my gp refused it. I got a private test though and submitted it to them as I wanted to test my other hormones at the same time. Superdrug have been ok (a bit slow on the turnaround of prescriptions though). I am planning to use another online pharmacy at 3 months as it is cheaper. The sachets are however lasting 2 x as long as stated for me so the cost is not too bad.

I suggest that prior to adding hormones to your body that you speak to a dedicated menopause clinic first - not a gyaneacologist.  I'm surprised that 1 can buy any hormone replacement without a GP prescription.  U may not require testosterone, your symptoms may be something unrelated.

They're certainly milking it. If you're a woman you can buy 3 testogel sachets for £18, if you're a man you can buy 30 for £55. You don't seem to be offered tostran if you're female, if you're male it's £55 for a canister that lasts me about 7 months.
