Has anyone read about how he has gone missing? Police think he may have fallen from a height whilst on a Greek island :'(
-
He went back to the beach as he forgot his phone. They are using drones to look for him
-
Ive just read about him. I hope he's ok
-
Love his books,so informative,hope he's ok too
-
his books are really good jaypo.
-
Just heard about this :-\. I really hope he’s ok. I like listening to his tips on nutrition etc. 🙏
-
Yes discogirl, I just bought one of his books and it's so so interesting, seemed such a nice man :'(
I know songbird, his wife reported him missing yesterday
-
I have just heard about this. I really hope he is ok - he is so knowledgeable and informative on nutrition and such like - I find his advice so interesting and useful
-
He seems to live life dangerously always putting himself out there and acting as a guinea pig when testing different medications and diets.
Hope he is found safe and well.
-
He and his wife were on a beach yesterday and he decided to walk back to the Hotel :-\ via a pathway close to a cliff. She reported him missing at tea-time. Drones and helicopters are being used.
I am currently re-reading his book : the clever guts diet :
-
The police said the path is very safe? Thousands walk it,so unless he's slipped or something, what a worry for his wife
-
It's so worrying, especially given the heat there atm. If he has fallen and is hurt but alive, dehydration by now would be a big concern.
-
That was my thought as I woke up :-\. apparently his phone was in his hotel room.
-
It wouldn't be suicide would it :'( :'(
Although they are now saying he was last seen speaking to a man
-
My thoughts too, if he had been diagnosed with 'something', however. Hopefully they find him rather than it being a recovery mission.
-
Been reading about him and it seems he made the village as there were sightings. I'm afraid I'd never heard of him before. His poor family.
-
Oh his books are great Autumnwalks, especially if you're interested in gut related issues.
They've called off the water search now and apparently his children have arrived to help in the search. What a mystery it is :-\
-
I think he did a good one about how to reverse diabetes too. He's great, I like his books too.
-
Reversing diabetes by eating no processed foods, exercising more and keeping hydrated. Which may take 12-14 months but really does work.
-
They’ve found a body ☹️
-
Just read it littleminnie,my heart sank when I saw the headline :'(
-
After 4 days that was the likely outcome. Such a shame, he seemed to be such a nice person as well as a great doctor.
-
I read that it seemed he'd been dead for a number of days which, I guess is good in a way as it means he didn't suffer for as long as he could have done.
-
So sad to hear of this today. He did so much to try and help people keep healthy such as creating the 5:2 diet, fasting and such like.
I feel so sorry for his lovely family, you don't expect this to happen when you go on holiday for a break to get away from it all when working so hard all year. When things like this happen you wonder what life is all about ...
-
Oh I know fiftyplus, why do bad things happen to good people :(
-
:'(
-
Identified as Dr Mosley :'(. RIP
-
what a shame. i think news reports are saying he took a wrong route on his walk. plus it was about 40° heat.
at least this can help give the family a bit of closure.
he seemed a genuinely nice fella
-
Oh no, very sad to read this. How awful for his family :'(

The first of the two programmes, There's Only One Michael Mosley, will air on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds at 11:00 BST on Friday 14 June.
It will feature the last interview Dr Mosley conducted, recorded in the BBC tent as part of the Hay Festival in May.
For the interview, titled How to Live a Good Life, Dr Mosley spoke to Paul Bloom, Professor Emeritus of Psychology and Cognitive Science at Yale University.
The BBC says it sees the presenter "at his best, full of warmth, insight and thoroughly enjoying his time with the audience".
A second special programme, Michael Mosley - The Doctor Who Changed Britain, will air on BBC One and iPlayer on Friday 14 June at 20:00 BST.
The programme will "look back at an extraordinary broadcasting career which spanned almost 40 years", the BBC says.
