Title: Oestrogel any good /side effects at first?
Post by: Vicky81 on May 29, 2024, 11:00:53 AM
Hey all
So after a few changes my gp said to go back to gel as its meant to be a quicker delivery system.

I just wanted to ask if anyone had any start up jittery feeling? If so did this go after more use?
I put it on at 7am .(2 pump))..5 hours later felt bit jittery but my friend told me ot does subside  as you get used to it ? Xxx

You can feel jittery from too much oestrogen. It might settle but if it's bothering you perhaps reduce the dose and build up again as your body gets used to it. Or you may find 1 pump is enough for you.

My first time on hrt I was put straight on two pumps, had similar feelings to you plus really sore breasts and I ended up quitting. Second time around I started on one pump and I had no jitters / sore breasts at all. I wonder if your starting dose is a little high.
