Title: Hysterectomy for peri?
Post by: Vicky81 on May 26, 2024, 08:03:24 PM
Hi
Just wondering if anyone has had a hysterectomy and ovaries removed for severe peri?
Did it make things easier? Decrease anxiety etc?

Just an option I'm thinking of xx

Hey Vicky.

I'm still struggling massively too. Seriously considering a chemical menopause.

Perhaps have a look into that. It's reversible. Injections - zoladex or prostrap I think. Often they try woman on it before a hysterectomy.

My GP is supportive. Awaiting my gynae appointment.

I feel for you. This is a hideous time. Xx
