Hi all. Been on Testogel for around 12 days and not sure if it’s a coincidence (life has been a bit tough of late too) but I’m very low in mood. I want to stick things out for at least a few months with the Testogel as I have a total lack of energy and motivation and zero libido, however I’m wondering if anyone else has had this as a side effect and whether it eventually wore off?

Personally, I'd persevere as it's early days. Many things could cause a dip in mood - stress, hormones, weather. Try to keep track to see if it's at certain times of the month, you may need to review your estrogen. If it's tolerable then I'd ride it out for a few weeks as T can have a lot of benefits.

Mine is in sachets, I decant it into a sealed pot. For my first dose I used a syringe to work out how much I should take but I'm used to it now so I use a tiny spoon that came with a beauty product and can easily just scoop up the right amount just by looking. Sometimes my last day is a slightly higher or lower dose than the rest because you can't be 100% accurate.

I think you need to ask your gp or pharmacist. I don't think many women are prescribed testogel in a pump, it's usually the sachets which should last for 10 days.

Hi TM73,
I've tried Testogel 3 times over the past year, and it doesn't like me either. Bad mood, spots, fat gain very fast despite no diet changes. I've done a bit of reading and apparently for some women it's not the answer.
