I'm currently on two pumps of gel morning and night and 5mg of proverb at night. It's like a very light period - is this normal? X
-
How long have you been on this hrt ?
-
Gel and provera for two weeks on two weeks off. Only been on provera daily for a week. X

They usually say that you need to give any new HRT regime at least 3 months to settle. I was told to allow 6 months when I first started with evorel conti and had on and off bleeding.

I agree with the above comment….it can take up to 6 months to gel used to a continuos regime.

Thank you all so much! I just wish the Dr had explained it more thoroughly x

Hi Dawn, I have exactly the same problem.. I have a mirena too and have had constant bleeding/mostly spotting with that.. so private specialist prescribed me everol 50 and 10mg of Provera to be taken every day.. was going so well for 1 week and the low and behold.. bleeding..
More that I would like.. it’s so bloody frustrating.. I’ve had years of this and am seriously considering a hysterectomy.
I’ve halved my patch to see if that helps for now. Seems our cycles might have been ‘underway’ before we started the Provera perhaps so bleeding could be normal period.. it doesn’t suppress ovulation either. Was hoping for years with no bleeding though as I’m sure you were.
Are you sticking with that regime?

I'm seeing the Dr on Friday but when I was two weeks on two weeks off I had no spotting and Mt mental health was fine - it's a minefield x

Depends whether you are peri or postmenopause, and also when in the cycle you started the continuous provera eg whether you went from the 2 weeks provera straight to the continuous ie just carried on, or whether you restarted the provera after you had completed the cycle ie after the two weeks "off"? Also whether the dose was different - lots of possibe variables.
Hurdity x
