Title: Bleeding after hysteroscopy and D&C? Stopped then started after 2 weeks

I had a hysteroscopy and D&C for post menopausal bleeding and thickened uterine lining 2 weeks ago. The bleeding stopped a few days afterwards, and has now started again. Is this normal? I am having a hysterectomy on Thursday.

I had just the hysteroscopy part and no bleeding until some time after, not sure when, sorry. But it did stop then started again! I would have thought after a D&C that would be normal? But surely your hysterectomy will sort it all out. I'll be thinking if you on Thursday,  wishing you all the best and a good recovery.

Thank you so much for your response! I somehow thought the D&C would keep the problem at bay until the hysterectomy, but I am a bit naive.
